Mass Data Storage through Lewis
Each user is limited to storing a maximum of 2.5 GB of programs and data in their home directory on Lewis. To store larger amounts a second storage facility is in place and can be reached through the symbolic link to /data in the user’s home directory. Each user is limited to storing a default maximum of 50 GB of data in this file system. Only someone logged in with the correct userid and password, or a system administrator can reach the data either in the home directory or under /data unless you change the permissions to those directories.
