- A workshop on the efficient use of Lewis and Clark will be presented on Septmber 24, 2009, in the Bond Life Sciences Center. Slides for the previous workshops on this topic (July 16 and November 1, 2007) may be found here.
- A workshop entitled "Basics of Sequence Similarity Searching and Search Tools Available Through the UMBC" was presented in the Bond Life Sciences Center on September 10, 2009. The slides may be found here for the earlier versions of this talk(February 8 and March 1, 2007; November, 2008; February, 2009).
- Missouri Life Sciences Week 2010 will take place in Columbia, MO, in the Christopher S. Bond Life Sciences Center, April 12-16, 2010. The 2009 Life Sciences Week was held in April.
- The Great Plains Network (GPN) celebrated its 12th year at its Annual Meeting in Kansas City on May 28-29.
